Prof. Sanjay Sarma
Massachusetts Institute of Technology (Boston, USA)
Sanjay Sarma is Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Massachusetts Institute of Technology. His research includes sensors, the Internet of Things, cybersecurity and RFID where he is recognised as a pioneer of many RFID standards that are now used worldwide. Professor Sarma advises several national governments and global companies.
Chris Quin
Foodstuffs North Island
Chris is CEO of Foodstuffs North Island part of Foodstuffs, which is New Zealand’s 5th largest company covering some of the country’s iconic brands including New World, Pak n Save, Four Square and Liquorland. Chris is the first external appointment to the top job at Foodstuffs in its 95-year history having come from a 25 year career with Spark. He is also Chairman of business strategy company, The Icehouse.
Robert Beideman
GS1 Global (Princeton, USA)
Robert is the Chief Solutions and Innovation Officer at GS1, leading solutions and innovations at the organisation's Global Office. He works with some of the world’s global heavy weights on eCommerce transformation bought about by technological and customer driven change.
Rocco Braeuniger
Amazon Australia
Rocco joined Amazon in early 2006 and held a variety of positions at the company before becoming the first Country Manager for Amazon Australia, ahead of the launch of amazon.com.au in December 2017. Since then, he has built and now leads a team focusing on growing the offering for Australian customers and businesses that sell on the Amazon marketplace, including launching products and services such as Prime, Alexa-enabled Echo Devices, Global Store, and Fulfilment By Amazon.
Prior to his role in Australia, Rocco led the German Consumables team at Amazon which included responsibilities for FMCG product lines as well as programs such as Prime Family, Subscribe & Save, EU Prime Pantry and EU Dash. He also supported the India team subsequent to their launch.
Rob Rekrutiak

Rob Rekrutiak is the Group Product Manager at Google U.S.A. Rob has over 20 years' experience as an executive and entrepreneur across product, strategy, operations and management. With a background that spans product management, marketing, IT, logistics, manufacturing and retail, Rob’s responsibility and scope has ranged from start-ups all the way through to multi-national corporations.
Kevin Ashton
The Father of "The Internet of Things", Technology Pioneer, Author
Kevin Ashton is a visionary technologist. He coined the term "the Internet of Things," co-founded the Auto-ID Center at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and has led several successful tech start-ups. His book "How to Fly a Horse - The Secret History of Creation, Innovation, and Discovery," was named 2015's Business Book of the Year by 800-CEO-READ.
